Antique Gorham Musical Jewelry Box With Dancers -Rich Brown Wood Made in Japan. I'll do my best to describe this piece.
It appears that one dancer turns very well and the other two are more of wallflowers, opting to sit this song out. I don't blame them, they've probably danced for years and needed a break. Not sure if it's a magnet or what the case might be to get them to turn or if only one is supposed to dance. The other item to note is that there is some scratching from use to the jewelry box. There is a small chip from the top left of one of the drawers. The wooden and glass door opens and closes nicely. All pulls on the drawers feel secure. Stickers on back indicate the piece to be from Gorham Made in Japan.
220190 with the tune noted as Waywewere, the. Unsure of exact time period manufactured, but since the song came out in 1973, it is likely shortly thereafter. Seems like a nice "feel good piece" with some history behind it. I presume that with some knowhow, this could be further restored. Please ask any questions you might have and I'll do my best to answer.
